School Choice Fair — May 14th, 2016 — Jones Center for Families
The NWA School Choice Fair is an opportunity to showcase the many varied, high quality education options that are available to families in Benton and Washington Counties. Invited participants include traditional public schools, private day schools, boarding schools, school based charters and independent charters.
Saturday, May 14th has been selected as the date this year, and space reserved at the Jones Family Center in Springdale. May 14th is the Square 2 Square family cycling event on the Razorback Regional Greenway from Fayetteville to Bentonville. We would like to offer families a chance to visit with education and community recreation representatives, enjoy snacks and entertainment, and enter a raffle for prizes.
We look forward to showcasing NWA education with you on May 14.
Each family will be given a promotional draw string backpack when they enter. This will be convenient to store any handouts, giveaways, or take away items you might wish to hand out. We also plan to have a magazine for families with one full page devoted to each participant school.
Each school participant will have a table and “booth”, approximately 8’ x 8’ in the Jones Family Center. Most booths will have electricity access, but not all. If you need electricity for a multimedia presentation, please sign up as soon as possible, as booths with electricity will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
There is no charge for schools to participate, but if you have personnel or others who can translate in Spanish or Marshallese, their service would be a wonderful addition. Also, we plan to have refreshments and door prizes. If you have a special relationship with a vendor, potential donor, or volunteers that would be a great contribution also.
To reserve your space, please fill out the form. You will receive an email receipt of your reservation.
To participate and help plan this event, please get in touch or have your delegate do so.
