Haas Hall Academy at The Lane (Rogers) won the 1A Arkansas Governor’s Quiz Bowl Association State Championship in a close match against Norfork High School Saturday in Conway. The score was 295 to 290.
This is the first state championship for Haas Hall Academy at The Lane. The Senior Quiz Bowl Players received a $3,000 check, trophy, and banner.
Devlin Zamarron earned Most Valuable Player and Caleb Campbell was selected as the Friends of Quiz Bowl Scholarship Award Recipient.
