The Astronomy Club is hosting a field trip on Saturday, November 6th. This event will take place at Hobbs State Park, and will last from 5:30 -9:00 PM. Participating scholars will be led on a moderate hike, followed by a chance to observe the night sky in the absence of light pollution. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to observe four to five planets, as well as objects such as diffuse nebulae, planetary nebulae, open star clusters, globular star clusters, and distinct galaxies. If you would like to participate in this adventure, please contact John Geduldig at John.Geduldig@haashall.org.
