Math Club will meet on Thursday in Ms. Hillbrand’s room (room 423) from 2:30 – 3:15. We will be recruiting scholars to work at the bake sale and playing math games.
If you are attending the state Math Counts competition on Saturday, we will have our last practice this Friday (March 6th) after school from 2:30 – 3:15 in Ms. Hillbrand’s room (Room 523). If you need a map or directions to the competition before Friday, please come by my room any day this week.
Are you interested in competing in the ACTM math competition? If so, please come by Ms. Hillbrand’s room to sign up by THIS Friday. The regional competition takes place at the University of Arkansas on Saturday, March 14th. You can pick up a copy of last year’s test to use as practice or search on Google for “ACTM math competition”
Students planning on attending the statewide MathCounts competition on March 7th should come to Ms. Hillbrand’s room after school this Friday (February 28th) for a practice session from 2:30 -3:00 pm.
