The Jr. Beta Coin Drive will wrap up on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 2:30 p.m. Please continue to bring your spare change to support Beta chapters in areas of Florida that were devastated by hurricane Ian. The first period that donates the most will win a Little Debbie party. Every penny helps!
Junior Beta will meet on Thursday, Nov. 3 at lunch in Mrs. Coan’s room (3). All 8th graders who received invitations, as well as all 7th graders, are invited to attend — even those who did not come to our first meeting. Eighth graders who have not yet paid the $24 dues need to do so ASAP.
Scholars, please remember to donate to your first block collection jar. Make those jars jingle jangle. (We love paper money, too.) The first week we raised almost $50. I know we can do even better in week 2. It’s a pretty tight race so far. Keep bringing donations through Nov. 15.
Please bring your spare change for the Junior Beta coin drive! Money will be allocated by National Beta to Florida schools that were destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The first period that collects the most money will win a prize. Paper money is welcome also.
Bring Change — Be the Change! Bring your spare change to donate to National Junior Beta Club’s Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. Put a little jingle in your 1st Block teacher’s jar. The class that collects the most money by Wednesday, Nov. 16 will win a prize. Paper money is welcome, too!
Jr. Beta will meet in Room 3 on Thursday at lunch. Eighth grade scholars who received invitations to join, as well as all 7th grade scholars, are invited to attend. Eighth graders who have not yet paid dues need to do so by Thursday’s meeting. Seventh graders will not pay dues until January.
Eighth grade scholars who meet the 3.85 GPA requirement and wish to join National Junior Beta Club should send a screenshot of their transcripts, showing the GPA, to firstname.lastname@example.org. Then pay the $24 dues to Mrs. Coan (Room 3) no later Friday, Sept. 23. 9th-12th grade scholars who meet the 3.85 GPA requirement and wish to join National Beta Club
