Oh Baby! Contest for Scholar Council Begins!
The Scholar Council is raising funds with an “Oh Baby! Photo Contest”. Eight staff members submitted baby/small child photo’s….use your powers of deduction to figure out who each one is! Feminine Products Drive
The Jones Center Scholar Council is making an effort to bring in feminine products to help replenish the feminine products in the girl’s bathroom. This allows our Scholars free access to these items. The Scholar Council purchased our first donation drive amount but we cannot continue to use our funds for this effort and support other ideas for all scholars.
Scholar Council Warmth Drive Ends This Month!
This drive continues for the month of January. We are seeking gloves, stocking hats, socks, fleece blankets, yoga pads, etc. for local homeless shelters. If you have a donation to make, bring it to school and give it to Mrs. Cox, Cassidy Waide, Bralen Cook or Josh Curiel and they will see that it is distributed properly.
Native American Studies Club Meeting Thursday!
The Native American Studies Club is meeting tomorrow in room 5 after school. There will be a presentation and demonstration of the game of stickball presented by Gabe Rasha, a citizen of the Choctaw nation and avid stickball player. Come join us!

They’re Growing!
As the semester comes to a close, we are noticing that our scholars are growing….and growing out of their uniforms! Please take time over break to make sure the uniforms are compliant with the dress code, especially length of skirts and dresses! Please make sure that all sweaters and fleece are the right lengths and that shirts can be tucked
