Junior Prom Committee Members Needed!
We’re putting together a student committee to offer feedback and ideas for Junior Prom! As committee members, students from grades 7-9 will work in collaboration with students from other Haas campuses to express their opinions on potential themes, decorations, fundraising efforts, activities, refreshments, and more! Meetings are TBD, but will likely take place during lunch, once or twice per week.
Junior Quiz Bowl State Champions!
Haas Hall Fayetteville’s Junior Quiz Bowl team placed first in the 3A State Tournament this past weekend at Harding University! Congratulations to Haas Hall Fayetteville’s Junior Quiz Bowl team! They placed first in Saturday’s regional competition, overcoming fierce competition from four other teams. Additional congratulations to Andrew Simmons for receiving All-Star classification based on points scored! Go Team!
Board Game Club Is Back!
Do you enjoy playing board and/or card games? If so, stop by the Board Game Club after school on Tuesdays, from 2:30-3:30, in Mr. Stout’s room (108)! All grades are welcome to attend!
Junior Quiz Bowl Returns!
Junior Quiz Bowl is back! The first meeting of the year will take place after school this Thursday (September 1st) in Mr. Stout’s room (108). Any scholar in grades 7-9 with an interest in academic competition is welcome! We need experts in all areas of knowledge, ranging from science, to math, to English, to pop culture. Come check it out!
