Haas Hall Fayetteville Chess team took home 2nd place in the primary chess competition for schools in Arkansas, the Chess Association of Arkansas Schools’ (CAAS) competition this weekend in Eureka Springs.
Siblings of current scholars who are interested in attending Haas Hall Academy next academic year must submit an application by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 1 to receive sibling priority in the Admissions Lottery drawing. Last Saturday, our great musician scholars participated in the All-Region Senior Band Clinic, where they performed a fantastic concert after just 6 hours of practice together. They played five wonderful pieces; Circus Bee, Precious Lord, Carmina Burana, Arabesque, and the wonderful La Virgen de la Macarena. What incredible talent on that stage. Our jaws all dropped at several points. Bravo!
Sign-up to join the Arkansas Economics Challenge Team! There are two categories the David Ricardo Division (Novice) and the Adam Smith Division (Experienced/AP). There is a team testing and presentation portion of the challenge, and there are individual writing portion to the competition.
