Ozark Natural Science Center is pleased to announce that registration is open for our 2023 AEGIS Summer Camp: Project Wet’n’Wild.
This FREE camp is for Arkansas students entering 10th and 11th grade in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Project Wet‘n’Wild will be held from June 19 – July 02, 2023 at the Ozark Natural Science Center, an outdoor science education facility located deep in the Ozark Mountains. Students at Wet’n’Wild unplug from electronic distractions and plug into the ever-changing and exciting world of field biology where evolving technology and field science merge. They accompany field scientists as they gather data and explore a variety of habitats in the Ozark Natural Division, including oak-hickory forests, glades, and streams. They explore and study the Kings River, Buffalo River, War Eagle Creek, and Pine Creek. A canoe trip on the Kings River and an overnight camping experience on the Buffalo are the highlights of this two-week experience in nature.
