Green Team 28th Street Clean-Up

Haas Hall Bentonville’s Green Team club will have its 28th Street Clean-Up on Wednesday, Oct. 2!

Our club adopted 28th Street as part of Arkansas’s Adopt a Highway Program. Therefore, we are responsible for keeping the street clean of litter.

This year, our goal is to clean all the way from J Street to Moberly. With enough volunteers, we should be able to accomplish our goal. We anticipate this event being about 2 hours, from 2:40 to 4:40. The more people who can show up, the faster we’ll be able to clean. Members of Green Team are required to complete this event once a semester, so plan accordingly!

This event is great for volunteer hours and does a lot for the community. We hope both the Green Team, Science Club, and other Haas Hall organizations and students will consider helping us with our upcoming 28th Street Clean-Up. Faculty are also encouraged and welcome.

All scholars participating in this event must sign up and pick up a consent form from Mr. Turnbaugh. The consent form must have a parent signature; they need to be signed and returned to Mr. Turnbaugh by Sept. 27. Scholars without signed consent forms will not be able to participate. Please stop by Room 112 to sign up for the event and pick up your consent form.
