Dear 9th-12th grade scholars,
We are excited to see so many high school scholars interested in tennis this year! Because of the numbers, we have decided to have a junior varsity (JV) team and a varsity team for grades 9-12. Tryouts for BOTH will be Tuesday, August 30th. YOU MUST COME BY NURSE SHELLY’S CLASSROOM (Room 108) AND SIGN UP FOR TRYOUTS THIS WEEK–even if you have filled out the interest forms we provided a few months ago. When you come to sign up, I will provide you with a letter to take home to your parents with more details about the season.
Note: Jr High Tennis (grades 7th-8th) begins at the beginning of the Spring semester. This announcement is for grades 9-12 only.
Important dates:
Sign up: Before Friday of this week
Tryouts: Tuesday, August 30th
First day of drills/practice: September 1st
Last day of drills/practice: October 6th
