Beta Club is hosting another henna event on Friday, January 24, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM in Ms. Chen’s room. (Henna is a red or green dye that is made from leaves and shrubs.) Although henna is traditionally used to decorate individuals’ hands and feet before weddings, celebrations, and other special events, many people also use henna to dye their hair. Since henna is a natural dye, the henna design will begin to fade in three to five days. However, it can take up to two weeks for the design to completely fade away. Please see the following for pricing information:
– $2 for a design on your fingers, wrist, or palm
– $5 for a design on your front or backhand (palm & fingers)
– $10 for a design on both of your hands (palm, fingers, & wrist)
Everyone is welcome to participate. If you don’t have a design in mind, don’t worry! We’ll provide a few ideas. The profits from this event will support the HHA Huskies’ Polar Plunge team.
If you would like to be a henna artist or have any questions, please email Sai Chittemsetty (firstname.lastname@example.org).
