To Rogers Parents and Scholars,
I have some big news to share! Headmaster Larry Henry of our Rogers campus notified me recently he is retiring at the end of this school year after serving almost five years with our institution. Many of you know I recruited him to join at the Bentonville campus where he was among the top teachers and had excellent rapport with our scholars and parents. Because of his passion for education, I selected him to launch our newly opened Rogers campus. There, he was critical in establishing that campus as an “Arkansas ‘A’ School” and earning a statewide placement in the Top 3 academically every year.
Through teamwork and hard work, the Rogers campus was ranked as the state’s leader in ACT Aspire Math Growth, for two years, and Rogers is part of the Fayetteville Charter that is in the top two schools in Arkansas.
Our past success at Rogers has witnessed an excellent beginning, and I sincerely appreciate Larry’s positive approach, his strong work ethic, and his passion for scholar success. Truly, I say he will be missed, but I also know he will enjoy retirement. Larry has, over his entire career made a positive difference in our community.
All four locations thrive because we are passionate and dedicated, our scholars are inspired to do their very best, and parents devote their time and resources to making Haas Hall the top high school in the state.
During this transition, I am delighted Mr. Bob Wise will serve as Interim Headmaster. We are in the process of receiving applications for a permanent headmaster position and no final decisions have been made at this time for the upcoming school year.
I understand our community is experiencing uncertain times. We sincerely appreciate your continued support of our school in this online learning situation. You, together with our teachers, have shown dedication and persistence during these uncertain times.
We are excited in what the future holds, and we need your help making this be another successful school year.
