Chase Alvarado and Lukas Danehy would like to introduce the Ethnic Diversity Action Committee (the “EDAC”) to the Haas Hall Academy community! This scholar-led organization strives to promote and educate all scholars regarding our diverse student body population at Haas Hall Academy. We plan to coordinate different community outreach events. These events will include, but are not limited to, volunteering and public speaking throughout the Northwest Arkansas region, while furthering the college-bound policies of Haas Hall Academy. The EDAC will be sure to recognize the achievements of its members and other minority students at Haas Hall Academy. The EDAC will also be a platform for scholars to discuss various opportunities, events, and activities within the community. EDAC meetings will occur once every two weeks on Thursdays, starting on Oct. 20, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m in Mrs. Kate’s room (113).
If you have any questions or would like further information regarding the EDAC, please contact the following scholars:
Lukas Danehy at lukas.danehy@haashall.org and/or Chase Alvarado at chase.alvarado@haashall.org.
Please Note: This club is open to all Haas Hall Academy scholars, regardless of race, creed, or gender.
