Over Spring break, robotics team 5006 Apophis won the most prestigious award in their program for the first time with only 8 members, and it earned them a spot in the world competition in Houston. There, they are competing for the award on an international level. The other night, our community workshop was completely knocked out by a tornado. With a competition this weekend and the world competition in late April, they need any help they can get. Congratulations to the robotics team on the recognition of their global outreach efforts providing accessible and sustainable electricity to villages in Africa and Asia and even homeless veterans in NWA.!
