Message for Returning Scholars

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please remember this summer to schedule needed immunizations and sports physicals appointments for your scholar for the 2023-2024 school year.

Information about required immunizations and immunization exemption letters can be found at https://www.healthy.arkansas.gov/programs-services/topics/immunizations.

Per Arkansas law, scholars not compliant with state law for immunizations, or fail to provide Haas Hall Academy with a copy of their 2023-2024 Arkansas Department of Health Immunization Exemption letter will be excluded from school until they become compliant or provide the letter. Scholars with Immunization exemptions must provide proof of exemption (or proof of application for exemption) by the first day of school.

Commonly missed immunizations are:
Scholars entering grade 7 are required to receive one dose of Meningococcal Meningitis vaccine.
Scholars entering grade 11 (or age 16 on or before Sept 1) are required to receive one dose of Meningococcal Meningitis vaccine.

Appointment times to obtain free school immunizations can be made at the Washington/Benton County Health Department.
