On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Haas Hall Academy will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) for all 11th-graders. This exam focuses on the skills and knowledge scholars have attained in reading, writing, language and math.

We administer this test each year, but because of COVID-19, we have made some adjustments to our process. Please continue reading for details pertaining to each grade.

JUNIORS (11th grade)
All juniors — traditional, blended, and virtual — MUST report to their campus by 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, October 14. Scholars arriving late will not be allowed to take the test. Calculators are allowed for portions of the test. See the list of approved calculators.

Scholars must wear a mask on campus and have their temperature taken before entering any campus building. After the entrance screening, scholars will be instructed where to report for the exam.

No scholar will be seated within 8 feet of another scholar during the test. Because we are able to provide more than the recommended space between each scholar, we will not offer this exam virtually.

After the exam is finished, juniors will leave school for the day and will not be required to attend classes in the afternoon.

The cost of the exam in $17. Exam payments must be turned in at the front desk of your campus by Monday, October 12.

Please email the Director of Academy Affairs at your campus if you need financial assistance.
