This week is Red Ribbon Week, which promotes awareness and prevention of violence and substance abuse and misuse. Project Prevent Youth Coalition is hosting a DoNut Do Drugs day this Friday, Oct. 28 in the morning! This year’s theme is, “Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free!” Scholars will receive free swag items and a donut to promote not doing drugs!

A study from New Zealand shows that teens who regularly use marijuana are at high risk of losing an average of 6 to 8 IQ points permanently once they reach adulthood!
Compared with teens who do not use marijuana, teens who use marijuana are more likely to quit high school or not get a college degree.
