Would you like to support the Special Olympics Arkansas? ‘”The mission of Special Olympics Arkansas is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.” Special Olympics Arkansas is able to provide free services to individuals with intellectual disabilities because of generous donations and fundraisers. One of their biggest fundraisers is the Polar Plunge, which takes place at multiple locations across Arkansas.
This year HHAB Beta Club is assembling a team of faculty members and Haas Hall Academy Bentonville Seniors to take a plunge in Beaver Lake on Saturday, February 8, 2020, to support Special Olympics Arkansas. To support Special Olympics Arkansas, we need to raise at least $50 for each individual who plunges into the lake. This means we need to raise over a thousand dollars, and we need your help. You can deliver donations to the front desk at the Bentonville campus or make donations using the link: https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/katherine-cochran/beaverlakepolarplunge2020. Please share this link with your friends and family. We appreciate any and all donations! Thank you, Haas Hall Academy Friends and Family!
