–Please read below to support one of our outstanding scholars at Haas Hall Rogers!–
Greetings parents, faculty, and scholars of Haas Hall!
My name is Meera Arunkumar and I am a sophomore at Haas Hall Academy Rogers. I have known since I was ten years old that I wanted to make a direct difference in peoples’ lives. I wanted to rid the world of pain, so I set my sights on being a doctor– more specifically– a pediatrician. Children especially shouldn’t have to go through such painful endeavors as cancer, so this is my move towards finding better treatments and, hopefully, cures for cancer.
In pursuit of this goal, I have applied and been selected as a candidate in Students of the Year, a program that challenges high school students to raise as much money as possible in the time span of 7 weeks to help find cures for cancer and improve patient care. My charity, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), is a non-profit organization whose mission is to cure leukemia, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and myeloma as well as improving the quality of life of the patients and their families. They have funded many of the cancer treatments that exist today and have contributed more than $600,000 in financial aid to patients and their caregivers.
I would greatly appreciate your support in this endeavor as a member of my campaign team! Help me raise support to make a difference in people’s lives. Please use this link to donate:
