The Center for Community Engagement of the University of Arkansas has volunteer opportunities for youth 16 and above to serve in our programs for the summer. The two programs are:
Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Campus Food Pantry and Razorback Food Recovery each program has a weekly volunteer commitment for the summer. Descriptions and applications are below.

Pantry: Apply today to be a volunteer in the Jane B Gearhart Full Circle Campus Food Pantry! We have multiple volunteer positions open to ensure that volunteers can gain a variety of skills and experiences during their time of service. The positions available are as follows: General Volunteers, Garden Volunteers, Full Circle Express General Volunteers, and Full Circle Express Drivers. RFR: Razorback Food Recovery Volunteers work in campus dining facilities to capture unused food and distribute it to community partners. Recovery volunteers are required to show up to a weekly, 1-hour shift. Distribution Leaders are responsible for driving a University vehicle to various locations on campus, load the van with recovered food, and deliver the food to local agencies. Distribution leaders are required to have a valid driver’s license.
