Why Do We Need This Event?
Haas Hall Academy is a public open-enrollment charter school that is open to anyone desiring a college-preparatory education. Many people don’t realize that in the state of Arkansas, charter schools receive 36 percent to 68 percent less funding than traditional school districts. Private support through events like these help bridge the funding gap and allows us to maintain our mission: Every Scholar, Every Day — College Bound!
Funds raised in previous years have been used to upgrade technology including the purchase of: Smart TVs, computers, and 3D printers. Funds have also been used to support student needs for purchasing uniforms, test fees, and more.
Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to provide funding for Haas Hall Academy’s award-winning publications and communications curriculum.
