We have an important time change to share with you regarding our 2020 graduation.
The ceremony will begin about 8:30 p.m. (the time has changed from previous communications) Tuesday, May 26 at 112 Drive In (3552 Arkansas Highway 112) in Fayetteville. Rain or shine. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. (This time also has changed from previous communications.)
Graduates should wear their caps, gowns and tassels. A video will play on the movie screen. As each graduate’s picture appears, the graduate should step out of their vehicle, move their tassel from right to left, and step back into their vehicle. Hold celebrations until the end of the film. Afterward, follow the exit signs and leave in an orderly fashion. We encourage you to decorate your vehicle.
Please remember, the approval of our ceremony comes with strict guidelines we all must follow. Read over the guidelines below and plan accordingly.
–One (1) vehicle per graduate family — graduate must be in the family vehicle. (Please place a sign with the graduate’s last name in your front window.) We have a very limited amount of extra parking spots available. One vehicle will be checked in for each graduate. If another one shows up, the driver will be asked to reroute to the back of the line until all graduate vehicles have been parked. Additional vehicles will be allowed to park on a first-come, first-served basis.
–Families must remain inside their vehicles at all times. No sitting in pickup beds, no sticking heads out of sunroofs.
–Haas Hall Academy staff members and security guards will direct vehicles to parking spots. Every other spot will be left empty.
–Haas Hall Academy staff members and security guards will monitor the crowd to ensure everyone is following social distancing guidelines.
–Haas Hall Academy staff members and security guards who work at the event must wear personal protective equipment and will have their temperatures taken.
–Concessions stands and restrooms will be closed.
