We are excited to inform you that we will be starting a new chapter of UNICEF Club for the 2021-22 academic year at HHAB. UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) is a special program of the United Nations (UN) devoted to aiding national efforts to improve the health, nutrition, education, and general welfare of children. UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
Through UNICEF, we will be advocating, educating, fundraising, and building a community in support of children in need. For those interested in being a part of UNICEF or learning more about UNICEF, we will be having an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 28 from 2:30 to 3:00 in Mrs. Murski’s room. Virtual scholars who are interested can use the contact listed below to email and get a meet link for the meeting.
Along with introductory material, we will be discussing openings for officer positions during our first meeting. UNICEF is a great way to meet new people, build leadership skills and make a positive impact in our world. We hope to see you there!
