Knowledge @ Wharton High School (KWHS), University of Pennsylvania’s prize resource for high-school students, is now accepting applications for the 5th edition of its Global Young Leaders Academy. Over the last four years, their alumni have been accepted into top universities like Stanford, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, University of Chicago, University College London and many more.
The Global Young Leaders Academy is an intensive two-week program for high school students above the age of 15. It adopts an entrepreneurial theme to give students a taste of accounting, marketing, management and finance.
Some highlights from the program include:
– Wharton faculty presentations and in-depth learning from select high school teachers in the KWHS network
– Interactive college admissions workshops and participation in a community service project
– Chance to network with a group of international peers and gain an Ivy League experience
– Bonding with selected Penn undergraduate students who serve as academic advisors
